In nineteen seventy one, this ex-fortress was sectioned by the Egyptian-administration. President El-Sadat took it up tuning it into his place of work. In early 90s it was re-used as a museum . Many of the grand artistic-works provided by Mohammed-Mahmoud Khalil together with the spouse include famous artistic-work from the likes of Paul Gauguin and Vincent-van-Gogh’s work. This Museum displays good quality collection of impressionist works of art and paintings. These objects of art mainly gathered before the year nineteen twenty one.
